Whole-home heating

Central Heating Systems

Boilers, radiators, pipework, cylinders and controls planned together for reliable comfort and practical energy use.

Warmaway engineer discussing a complete central-heating system with a homeowner

Comfort in every room · Start at the right scale

Warmth in every room

Cold rooms, slow radiators and unreliable hot water often point to the wider system. Warmaway designs the heat source, radiators, pipework, cylinder and controls to work together.

More even heat

Rooms warm in a balanced way instead of fighting over the available flow.

Simple control

Zones and schedules reflect how the household uses different spaces.

Ready for the future

The design can allow for later renovation, smart controls or lower-temperature heating.

Targeted improvements

Replace problem radiators, valves or controls while retaining sound parts of the system. Useful when comfort issues are limited to particular rooms.

Boiler plus system upgrade

Fit a new heat source alongside radiator, cylinder or control improvements. Often the practical middle ground for an established home.

Complete central heating

Plan new pipework, emitters, hot water and controls as one coordinated installation. Best suited to major renovation, extensions or a failing legacy system.

A joined-up heating design

Plan the whole system together.

Warmaway identifies what can be kept, what is holding performance back and where spending will make a meaningful difference.

More than a boiler swap

Comfort depends on the whole system. Warmaway can review heat demand, radiator sizing, pipework condition, zoning, controls and hot-water needs before recommending a solution.

Designed for everyday use

The system should be easy to control, balanced correctly and suited to how the property is occupied. Clear handover helps everyone understand how to use it efficiently.

One team from design to care

Warmaway can install the system and support it afterwards through servicing and maintenance, reducing the gap between installer and aftercare provider.

Whole-system installation

From room survey to a balanced, commissioned system.

The sensible project may be a focused improvement or a complete new system.

01

Property survey

We assess the building, existing equipment and priorities.

02

System design

Boiler, emitters, pipework and controls are specified together.

03

Installation

The team coordinates the work and keeps disruption clear.

04

Commissioning

The system is tested, balanced and explained at handover.

A property-led answer

What does comfortable mean in your home?

A spare room used twice a month has different needs from an open-plan kitchen or a bathroom used by a whole family each morning. Design begins with those real patterns.

Often a good fit when...

  • Some rooms never reach a comfortable temperature
  • Radiators or pipes are ageing, noisy or repeatedly troublesome
  • An extension or layout change has altered heat demand
  • You want heating and hot water planned together

We still assess...

  • Room-by-room heat demand and insulation
  • Radiator sizes, valves and flow through the system
  • Pipe sizes, routes and accessible condition
  • Cylinder capacity, pressure and hot-water demand

The details that make a whole system work

Good equipment cannot compensate for poor circulation or weak controls. These checks help make the finished system quiet, balanced and understandable.

What we assess

  • Room heat-loss requirements
  • Radiator or underfloor output
  • Pipe sizing and practical routes
  • Boiler, cylinder or heat-pump compatibility
  • Zoning and control strategy
  • Flushing, balancing and water protection

A complete project

What the project includes

  • Property and existing-system assessment
  • Joined-up heat and hot-water design
  • Itemised proposal for retained and replacement parts
  • Coordinated installation and protection of working areas
  • System clean, fill, balance and commissioning
  • Control setup, handover and ongoing-care options

Questions, answered simply

Everything you need to know before booking.

Can you replace radiators as part of the work?

Yes. Radiators, valves and accessible pipework can form part of a complete heating-system installation.

Can the system include smart controls?

Yes. Controls and zoning should be considered during design so they work properly with the heat source and your routine.

Can you improve only the coldest rooms?

Yes, where the rest of the system is sound. Warmaway can assess radiator output, valves, balancing and pipework before deciding whether a focused improvement is enough.

Can a new system be designed for a future heat pump?

It can be planned with lower flow temperatures, suitable emitters and controls in mind. That does not automatically make every property heat-pump ready, but it can avoid locking in poor design choices.
