Wake up ready to drive

A dedicated home charger makes daily charging simpler. Warmaway plans it around the vehicle, parking space, electrical supply and any solar or battery system.

Everyday convenience

Plug in at home and schedule charging around the way the car is used.

A safer dedicated circuit

Protection, earthing and cable routes are designed for regular vehicle charging.

Smarter energy choices

Compatible systems can respond to tariffs or available solar generation.

Straightforward smart charging

Schedule the car around departure times and suitable electricity periods. A practical option for many homes with off-street parking.

Solar-aware charging

Use compatible monitoring to direct available solar surplus towards the vehicle. Performance depends on generation, charger capability and the car being present.

Joined-up home energy

Coordinate charging with solar, battery storage or a future heat pump. Useful when electrical demand is changing across the whole property.

Safe, convenient home charging

Plan the charger around the vehicle, parking and electrical supply.

Parking position, cable handling, connectivity and the wider home-energy system all affect which product and installation route feels right every day.

Why fit a dedicated charger?

A purpose-designed home charger is faster and more convenient than relying on a standard socket, with equipment and protection designed for regular vehicle charging.

The property survey matters

Warmaway checks the consumer unit, available capacity, earthing, parking position, cable route and data connection before confirming the installation.

Connect charging with home energy

If you have solar, battery storage or a time-of-use tariff, compatible smart charging can help decide when and where the car takes its power.

A property-led answer

What will make charging easy at your property?

The best charger position should be safe, reachable in everyday parking and connected without a cable becoming a trip hazard or visual afterthought.

Often a good fit when...

  • There is suitable off-street parking
  • The cable can reach the car without crossing a public route
  • Home charging would remove regular public-charging journeys
  • You want to coordinate charging with solar or a smart tariff

We still assess...

  • Consumer unit condition and available supply capacity
  • Parking position, cable length and safe route
  • Earthing and required protective equipment
  • Wi-Fi, mobile data or network connectivity at the charger

Questions, answered simply

Everything you need to know before booking.

Can an EV charger use solar power?

Compatible chargers can respond to surplus solar generation, depending on the solar, inverter, monitoring and charger setup.

Will my electricity supply need upgrading?

Not always. The installer checks available capacity and any network requirements before confirming the work.

How long does a home charger installation take?

Warmaway says many straightforward installations take around two to three hours and are completed within a day. Extra consumer-unit, cable-route or network work can extend the visit.

Can the cable cross a pavement?

A cable should not create a hazard across a public route. Properties without suitable off-street parking need a location-specific discussion and may require permission or a specialist solution.
